In qualità di CEO, Carlos gestisce Enfinity e ne guida la strategia a breve e lungo termine. Ha più di 24 anni di esperienza in ruoli di leardership a livello internazionale. Negli ultimi 20 anni in particolar modo ha seguito il finanziamento per oltre 20 miliardi di dollari di capitale e sviluppato oltre 10GW in impianti ad energia rinnovabile di diversa tipologia, dagli impianti a terra, alle acquisizioni.
Prima di assumere la guida di Enfinity, Carlos è stato co-fondatore di ieX Renewables, LLC, che alla fine del 2015 aveva già in gestione più di 2GW di impianti a energia rinnovabile. Da gennaio 2014 a novembre 2015 è stato Presidente e CEO di TerraForm Power, Inc.e TerraForm Global, Inc. Tra il 2014 e il 2015 Carlos ha guidato con successo la costituzione di entrambe le società e successivamente le relative IPO. Durante la leadership di Carlos, TerraForm è diventato il più grande yieldco di NA con 2,8 GW di contratti di PPA e crescita di dividendi per azione di 1,7 volte rispetto all’IPO. TerraForm Global rimane la più grande società quotata puramente rinnovabile a livello globale.
Nel settembre 2007 Carlos entra a far parte di SunEdison Inc. in qualità di CFO e investitore con lo scopo di contribuire a rendere pubblica la società. Nel gennaio del 2009 il Consiglio di Amministrazione nomina Carlos COO, il quale nel novembre dello stesso anno aveva supervisionato la vendita di SunEdison alla MEMC Electronics. In seguito è diventato EVP di MEMC e Presidente di SunEdison, Inc. contribuendo allo sviluppo dell’azienda a livello globale e portandola dagli originari 40MWs all’anno a oltre 1GW all’anno con un backlog contrattualizzato di più di 1.5 GWs.
Nel marzo 2013 è stato nominato Presidente di SunEdison Capital ed è diventato socio fondatore di EverStream Capital. Prima di entrare a far parte di SunEdison, Inc., Carlos ha ricoperto diversi ruoli internazionali in qualità di senior executive in General Electric in diversi settori di business e paesi (1992-2007) classificandosi tra i top 3 ogni anno.
Carlos ha conseguito un MBA presso la Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management, una laurea in Business Administration presso la Virginia Commonwealth University e si è laureto presso il Financial Management Program di GE.
As COO, Francisco is responsible for the daily operation of the company to secure the functionality of business to drive Enfinity’s extensive and sustainable growth. Francisco has over 20 years of International management experience, 8 of which focused on the renewable energy sector.
Prior to joining Enfinity he co-founded ieX Renewables, LLC, where he served as COO, overseeing all operational activities of the company.
Prior to founding ieX Renewables, Francisco served on the Board of Directors of TerraForm Power, Inc. and TerraForm Global, Inc. where he also held executive positions as Executive VP and COO of both companies from 2013 to 2015. During this period, which included the successful IPO of both companies, he oversaw all operational activities of the companies, as well as portfolio acquisitions and integration. Francisco also served as COO of SunEdison, Inc.
Before that, from 2008 to 2013, Francisco served as President of EMEA, LATAM and North Asia at SunEdison, Inc. He was responsible for expanding company operations in the regions and for all the commercial, operations, financial and institutional functions of the company, developing, building and financing some of the most emblematic solar projects in the industry in those regions.
Prior to joining SunEdison, Inc., he served as CFO of Universal Pictures International Entertainment at GE/NBCUniversal from 1994 until 2008. During this period, he was part of the executive team that drove extraordinary growth at the company, taking revenues of $200 million to more than $1.7 billion and expanding the international footprint to over 70 countries.
Francisco holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from ICADE (Universidad Pontificia de Comillas, Madrid) and a BBA in Business Administration from Schiller International University, Paris.
As CFO, Oliver is responsible for managing the financial actions of Enfinity around the world. He has over 17 years of experience in energy, project development, financial management and business processes.
Prior to joining Enfinity, from 2016 to 2018 he served as FP&A Controller for EverStream Capital. Before that, from 2014 to 2016, he was VP of Finance and Operations for TerraForm Power, Inc. and TerraForm Global, Inc., where he was responsible for the validation of cash available for distribution of operating assets and future acquisition of assets, a critical valuation component in the IPOs of both companies.
From 2009 to 2014 he held various positions at SunEdison Inc. As CFO for SunEdison North America, he supported the acquisition of SunEdison by MEMC in 2009, and from 2011 to 2014, as VP of Global Commercial Operations, he was responsible for the allocation of $500 million in annual project development capital.
From 2003 to 2009, Oliver held different finance leadership roles at General Electric, including VP of Financial Planning & Analysis at NBCUniversal (2007 - 2008) and CFO of Universal Pictures Japan (2008 - 2009).
He holds a Bachelor Degree of Science in Finance & Accounting from the University of Colorado and completed coursework in Finance & Political Science from the London School of Economics.
As Head of Fundraising Asia, Peter is responsible for refining and executing on company’s funding strategy and oversees operations of the company in North America. Hennessy is also a Partner of Everstream Energy Capital Management LLC. He has over 13 years of experience in capital markets and renewable energy.
Peter led the firm’s investment in the Japanese market and started the Tokyo office, and has since led transactions that have raised over $1 billion in capital, both equity and debt. Prior to moving to Tokyo he led the firm’s largest investment in the United States, a $67m structured facility for late-stage development assets.
Prior to joining EverStream, Peter founded White River Solar, a solar developer that originated a 350MW portfolio of solar assets in California which were sold to SunEdison in 2011.
He was previously part of the Utility and Power Plants group at SunPower, where he worked on project financing, contracting, pricing, and system optimization for hundreds of MW across the US and internationally.
Prior to SunPower, he worked with Citi Alternative Investments platform Sustainable Development Investments on their lead investment of a $140 million in Solar Reserve, and with First Wind (then UPC Wind) on hedging and a successful $500m tax equity and debt financing.
Peter began his career in the Markets Group of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. He has a B.A. in Economics with High Honors from Middlebury College, an M.A. in International Energy from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, and an M.B.A. in Finance from The Wharton School.
As Head of Europe, José oversees overall operations and business development of the company in several European markets. He has over 20 years of International management experience in the financial and energy sectors.
Prior to joining Enfinity Global, he oversaw the global operations of SunCo Capital and had overall responsibility for origination, operations and asset management. During that period, he successfully developed 2 GWs of PV projects in Spain, Brazil, Italy and Chile. He was also responsible for aligning the development capital to support the company’s growth.
From 2009 to 2016, José was a main driver in the global expansion of SunEdison where he had an stellar and progressive track record. As President for EMEA and Latin America, he positioned the company as a market leader in the region by signing over 1.5 GW of bilateral PPAs and operating 1 GW of solar projects. In 2015, he became President of Global Asset Management and managed a global portfolio of 8 GW of solar PV and wind assets. Prior to joining SunEdison, he had senior international financial positions at EMI Music, Universal Pictures and Price Waterhouse Coopers.
He holds a Masters in Economics and Business Administration by Universidad Comercial de Deusto (Bilbao, Spain).
Come Head of Business Development Alessandro è responsabile per lo sviluppo aziendale nelle regioni EMEA e America Latina. Ha maturato un’esperienza manageriale di più di 14 anni nel settore delle energie rinnovabili con oltre 1GW di progetti sviluppati, finanziati e interconnessi in Europa, Asia, Medio Oriente, Australia e Africa. Prima di entrare a far parte del team di Enfinity, dal 2015 al 2018 ha lavorato come consulente per vari clienti tra cui Gildemeister Energy Solutions GMBH, con competenze in ambito legale, strategico, finanziario e commerciale per l’implementazione di soluzioni ad energia rinnovabile all’avanguardia in tutto il mondo. Nell’ambito dell’energia solare fotovoltaica, Alessandro ha inoltre guidato lo sviluppo in Italia di impianti greenfield per un totale di oltre 200MW.
Dal 2013 al 2015 ha lavorato come General Manager Europe per SunEdison contribuendo in maniera significativa al posizionamento del marchio tra i leader di mercato con oltre 500 MW di progetti interconnessi nel solo Regno Unito, paese nel quale il lavoro di Alessandro, in materia di PR e lobby, ha contribuito in maniera significativa all’adozione di specifiche regolamentazioni per questa industria.
Precedentemente, dal 2008 al 2013, è stato Legal Counsel EMEA per SunEdison ricoprendo incarichi di consulenza strategica e finanziaria supervisionando ad una serie di fusioni e acquisizioni, così come due diligence e negoziazione di contratti.
Dal 2007 al 2008, ha lavorato come Direttore del Dipartimento legale di Conergy Italia, dove la sua profonda conoscenza della normativa del settore e il successo nella costruzione di relazioni con i partner sono divenuti elementi fondamenti per la realizzazione di progetti innovativi nel mercato delle energie rinnovabili in Italia.
In precedenza Alessandro ha esercitato la professione di avvocato, avendo conseguito una Laurea in Giurisprudenza presso l’università Statale di Milano.
As CEO Japan & South Asia, Takuro oversees overall operations and business development of the company in Asia. He has over 14 years of International management experience in the financial and energy sectors.
Prior to joining Enfinity, from 2005 to 2019, Takuro worked in GE Capital. From 2005 to 2015, he worked as a GM of Capital Markets / Syndication and arranged large leasing / M&A / Energy related financing transactions using global investor base. From 2013 to 2019 Takuro worked on energy project investments in Japan as a country representative and contributed to 500MW of solar investment volume. He also led the creation of a solar infrastructure fund in Japan.
Prior to GE, He worked in Japan and New York offices of Japanese bank.
He holds a LL.M lnt’l Tax from New York University School of Law and a LL.B from Keio University in Japan
As CEO India, Sandip oversees overall strategy, development and operations of the company in India.
He has over 12 years of development, financing and management experience in the infrastructure sector and a solid International experience.. Prior to joining Enfinity, Sandip co-founded TEPSOL Projects Private Limited, an India focused solar development platform, majority owned by EverStream Capital. As CEO, he successfully built an unparalleled team and led the company in the development and commissioning of 120MWp of solar projects apart from developing a pipeline of over 300 MW. Prior to co-founding TEPSOL, Sandip co-founded TEP Solar India Private Limited, a solar development platform majority owned by Think Energy Partners Solar India LLC. Under his leadership, Think Energy was awarded the Most Promising Energy Start Up 2018 by ASSOCHAM. Prior to co-founding Think Energy Solar India, from 2009-2012, Sandip was instrumental in development, financing, and management of renewable projects in India, Italy, US, Germany and United Kingdom for a large Indian Group.
Sandip was conferred with Corporate Young Leader 2018 by PRCI, Young Energy Professionals 2018 by ASSOCHAM, Business Innovator 2019 by PRCI among other accolades.
He is an MBA graduate in Finance and is a certified Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Financial Risk Manager (FRM).
In qualità di Head of Marketing Virginia è responsabile della strategia di marketing e del brand Enfinity in tutto il mondo. Virginia vanta oltre 20 anni di esperienza in marketing internazionale, 15 dei quali in ruoli di leadership nel settore delle energie rinnovabili. Dal 2016 al 2018, prima di entrare a far parte del team di Enfinity, ha lavorato come consulente di marketing e comunicazione per diverse società di energia rinnovabile contribuendone allo sviluppo commerciale e strategico a livello internazionale.
Dal 2008 al 2016 ha ricoperto diverse posizioni dirigenziali per SunEdison Inc. dove, fino al 2014, è stata Responsabile Marketing per le regioni EMEA, LATAM e Asia settentrionale. Durante questo periodo ha contribuito in maniera significativa al lancio di SunEdison in Spagna, Italia, Regno Unito e America Latina posizionando SunEdison come leader di mercato e contribuendo alla realizzazione di alcuni tra i progetti più emblematici del settore: la centrale elettrica di Rovigo in Italia e quella di Amanacer Solar CAP in Cile. Nel 2009 è stata insignita del premio Assorel per la “Migliore campagna pubblicitaria nel settore dell’energia in Italia 2010”.
Dal 2014 al 2016, in qualità di Responsabile Marketing per TerraForm Power, Inc., e TerraForm Global, Inc., ha guidato le campagne di comunicazione delle relative IPO.
Dal 2004 al 2008 è stata Direttore Marketing Iberia per Conergy AG, supportando l’espansione aziendale dal punto di vista marketing in Spagna e Portogallo e gestendo il marketing per la divisione residenziale e commerciale con il marchio SunTechnics.
Virginia ha iniziato la sua carriera nel settore PR e pubblicitario lavorando a importanti campagne per Information Technology e grandi marchi in Europa tra cui Cisco, ICL, Praxair, Next e Apple.
Virginia ha una laurea in Scienze della Comunicazione presso l’Universidad Comlutense di Madrid, un PMD in International Business Administration conseguito all’ ESADE Business School and HEC Paris e ha completato un Digital Business Senior Managment Program in Digital Transformation alla The Valley Digital Business School.
As Head of EPC, Fernando is responsible for all the construction activities of the company worldwide. He has over 15 years of experience in international markets, executing and commissioning over 1.5GW of renewable energy projects.
Prior to joining Enfinity Global, Fernando was working in several companies at ACS industrial where as Head of business development for Europe & Japan he led and managed overall operations of PPAs negotiation process mainly in solar, wind and WTE as well as contributed in development of auctions, includes utilities, main industrials companies, and public institutions.
Prior to ACS industrial (2014-2016), he worked in Japan as EPC director at Canadian Solar. He provided excellent facilities by supervising EPC and asset management services for end buyers. Developed and executed procurement and supply chain management process to optimize sources, executing a portfolio over 250MW.
From 2008 to 2014, he was International Managing Director at Gedeon Group. During that period, Fernando directed all operations of technical and construction services for facilities under operation. Devised and executed cross-border strategies to boost organizational productivity in Europe and America.
Prior to Gedeon Group he worked in London as Head of Operations at Sunray.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Automatic & Control Engineering and a Physics degree by Cordoba University and a MBA from EOI.
As Head of European Funds, Francesco Cosulich is responsible for all debt and equity raising via dedicated funds and other private markets solutions, as well as structuring activities throughout the lifecycle of all Enfinity projects.
Francesco has over 20 years of experience in raising funds and managing private equity, private debt and infrastructure funds, with a specific angle on the renewable energy sector.
Prior to joining Enfinity, from 2017 to 2021 Francesco was Head of Institutional Relations and Partnerships in Southern Europe for Aberdeen Standard Investments. During this time Francesco led several global projects, including the setup of a €1 bn Private Equity fund in partnership with one of the largest European family offices and a € 3 bn Pan-European debt platform in partnership with one of the leading European banks.
Prior to that, from 2008 to 2017 he worked as Head of Southern Europe for AMP Capital where he led and/or participated in a number of landmark transactions including - among other- CLH, Angel Trains, Alpha Trains, Newcastle Airport, Great Gabbard OFTO, Cyclone Wind Farm and Axion, for an aggregate value through transactions in excess of $5 billion provided by equity and debt solutions.
Throughout his career Francesco led the effort to establish strong relations with institutional partners and at Government level with the key stakeholders in the industry.
Educated at the University of Venice (Italy), Francesco holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Commerce.
As Head of Global Asset Management, Miguel is responsible for supervising the management and performance of Enfinity’s operational assets internationally, both from a technical and financial perspective. Miguel has over 15 years of international management experience, 10 of which focused on the renewable energy industry.
Prior to joining Enfinity he co-founded Vector Renewables, where he served on the Board of Directors, and had executive positions initially in asset management in Italy and Bulgaria, and later in asset management at a global level. During this period, he was part of the executive team that drove extraordinary growth at the company, increasing the portfolio under management to 3.6 GW in 12 countries.
Prior to founding Vector Renewables, Miguel served as a Manager in GMS Management Solutions, where he led a number of relevant strategy and business consulting engagements for major players in the financial services industry worldwide. Among other positions, Miguel served as the United States Country Manager of the company, being based in New York City.
Before that, from 2000 to 2006, Miguel had other managerial positions in the audit business and the financial industry, in companies like Deloitte or Abanca.
Miguel holds a Degree in Business Administration from ICADE (Universidad Pontificia de Comillas, Madrid) and has lecturing experience as a visiting professor in the Centro de Estudios Garrigues, Madrid.
As Head of Energy Markets, Jose Ignacio is responsible for the optimization of Enfinity’s assets in the different power markets, managing long term PPA agreements, short term optimization and market access.
Jose Ignacio has over 15 years of experience in different positions in energy management. Before joining Enfinity, he worked at AXPO Iberia for 6 years as Head of Renewables and Energy Management with a managed portfolio over 8 GW in Iberia. He was also responsible to provide different products and services to renewable producers, including long-term hedging deals, PPAs market access and balancing services.
Prior to AXPO Iberia, he worked in Energya VM as Head of Energy Markets, managing a portfolio of plants in Spain and Germany and different trading activities across Europe and USA. He has also worked as Energy Management deputy director at CENTRICA, providing market access and services to renewables producers and trading activities in Iberia.
José Ignacio holds a bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering by Universidad Politécnica de Madrid with specialty in Energy and Fuels.
As Finance Director, Chantal manages the organization’s financial operations, including budgeting, and advising on financial decisions. She has over 15 years of international management experience in the financial and energy sectors.
Prior to joining Enfinity Global, from 2014 until 2017, Chantal was M&A Senior Manager EMEA & LatAm at SunEdison Inc. She played a key role in the execution of the acquisition and sale of more than 250MW of solar and wind projects from development stage to operational.
She joined SunEdison Inc in 2009 as FP&A Manager for EMEA and became Head of FP&A for EMEA, LatAm and North Asia in 2011. In her FP&A roles, she was mainly responsible for the management reporting and financial analysis supporting the growth and expansion into different markets.
Between 2001 and 2009, Chantal held several progressive finance positions at GE Money, Bayer and JP Morgan.
She holds a Masters degree in Business Administration from the Erasmus University Rotterdam in the Netherlands, as well as a CEMS Master in International Management from ESADE Business School in Spain.
As General Counsel of Enfinity Global Inc., he oversees company’s in-house and outside counsel, and manages all legal and regulatory affairs.
Before joining Enfinity Global, Dan was a partner at the law firm of Day Pitney LLP, where he was the Chair of the firm’s Public Companies, Securities, Tax and Benefits group and the Chair of the firm’s International Transactions practice.
Dan’s experience includes structuring, negotiating and documenting business deals and investment transactions around the world, including corporate mergers, acquisitions and dispositions; joint ventures; and capital formation. While he has worked across industries, he has specific experience working with renewable energy and infrastructure businesses as they pursue global growth. Dan has been involved in projects and transactions in many corners of the world, including the United States, Europe, Latin America, Asia and the Middle East.
Gottfried earned his B.A from the University of Connecticut and his J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law. He has also served as an adjunct professor at this school of Law.
As Head of Technical Development, María is responsible for project development from a technical perspective, ensuring European projects fulfill all the permitting process requirements. She is responsible for managing the relation with the utilities and main stakeholders involved in the project authorization process. María is also involved in bringing the cutting-edge technologies in each project to optimize production and cost reduction, ensuring timely project execution.
Prior to joining Enfinity Global she worked as Technical Director at Vector Renewables (a company of FALCK RENEWABLES), advising on engineering and construction processes over 3 GW of solar projects in Europe, Latin America and Africa. María also worked for Gamesa for 8 years as Development Engineer and Project Manager.
María is Industrial Engineer and holds a master degree on Renewable Energy and Environment by Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
